Ricardo Lopez


Ricardo Lopez is an international business and policy professional with extensive experience spanning trade policy, diplomacy, private sector development, and cybersecurity. He began his career as a Trade Policy Officer at the Honduran Private Enterprise Council (COHEP), where he spent three years advancing business and economic initiatives. He later briefly served as a consultant to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, supporting projects focused on private sector development and international investment.

Subsequently, Ricardo held the diplomatic rank of Minister at the Embassy of Honduras in the United States, where he led the Commercial Section and promoted bilateral trade and investment opportunities. Now, he currently serves as Director of Innovation and Cybersecurity at Connector, Inc., where he combines strategic leadership with expertise in emerging technologies and digital security.

With a strong multidisciplinary background, Ricardo brings a unique ability to bridge international relations, business strategy, and technology to drive organizational growth and innovation. He lives in Washington, D.C. and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs focused in Trade Policy, a Masters of Science in International Business from The George Washington University, and a second Master’s degree in Cybersecurity.
